Well who's been busy.....

What a week I've had.. In my blog hopping escapades I have found some wonderful sites and through them I have learned how to tie ribbon flowers, make a shirt out of paper and colour ribbons with an ink pad to match your card.
I have learned about Spellbinders Nestabilities and I have bought some from Ebay. Just have to wait patiently until they arrive. Need to go to work now to pay for them.....
I discovered Funky Fairies and what a wealth of free papers she is giving away and of course I had to have some. These are some of the cards I made with them. They are liquorice all sort colours and they are fab!
Started to follow some of my favourite blogs too as I love the inspiration from them. One is "Crafty Emma" as she designs for making-handmade-cards like me and the other is "All the things I love" her cards are truly just out of this world.

Saturday night......
It's Saturday night and there is nothing of any interest on TV. The "Bourne Identity" film is on in the background and hubby is watching it but I just can't get into it at all. Spent the last hour or so just surfing and I have found some fabulous blogs from other cardmakers. They look so proffesional.
This is another of the cards I have sent to Making Handmade Cards.
Going to a car boot sale tomorrow to look for some crafting stuff. So lets just hope it doesn't rain....

Lovely weekend.
What a lovely weekend I have had. It started on Friday when I went to visit my aunt in Lancaster. Went out for lunch and giggled our way all through the meal. We have such a laugh together and I love going to visit her.
She is as enthusiastic as I am at card making but her speciality is parchment and the cards she makes are lovely. I always get a really special one for my birthday and christmas. We bore everybody else rigid when we start talking cards.
My really exciting news is that after my Valentine cards being accepted for the making-handmade-cards.com website I have received a second invitation to make some more. These are with the new kit "Le Jardin" which is to be released soon and they are just as gorgeous.
If you haven't looked at their site you're missing a treat, as some of the lovely papers are free for you to download and use on your cards.
Hope you like the cards I am showing you. Watch this space for more......
